“My husband and I were married at Windrift Hall in September and we couldn’t be happier. We dreamt of getting married in Europe for many years, but got engaged in December during the pandemic. With so much unknown at the time we decided it would be too challenging to plan a wedding overseas. I came across a Martha Stewart Weddings article about weddings at Airbnb’s (actually before we were engaged), and remembered seeing Windrift Hall. It was the perfect “European Countryside” venue.
We stayed at Windrift Hall with our bridal party and made it an entire wedding weekend. It became our home away from home, and it was amazing being able to “host” our 100 closest family and friends at our wedding. Susanne the owner cares so much about each of her couples, and takes great care of her beautiful property. She is so passionate, thoughtful, supportive, and has amazing taste. She also plants a tree for every couple that gets married at her home symbolizing the planting of our roots. We also decided to hire Marcus McGregor as our Planner, and he was just amazing to work with. He worked tirelessly to ensure everything was thought out throughout the planning process, and puts his couples first. He brought so much joy to us, our bridal party and guests and did everything to ensure our day was smooth. He made our wedding so memorable and we are so grateful to have had him with us. “We got married at Windrift in early October. It was the perfect venue for us - we had 35 guests, and had the entire wedding outside, with the ceremony by the pond, cocktail hour on the back porch, and reception underneath the pavilion. The spaces are gorgeous (especially in the fall!), and perfect for an intimate, outdoor wedding. Marcus, the wedding planner that works at the site, is worth his weight in gold - we could not have done it without him, and would recommend getting married at Windrift if ONLY for the sake of meeting and working with him!!!”
